I am indeed delighted to be associated with Bharatiya Vdiya Bhavans International Residential Public School Vidydashram, Bhimavaram, from this academic year. It gives me a great pleasure to look at our Bhavans belief that revitalizing ancient values and integrating them to suit the changing needs of modern times alone will give people the strength to assimilate whatever is good in the new.
The famous saying from Srimadbhagavad geetha about knowledge reads as
"नहीं ज्ञानेना सद्रूसम पवित्रामिह विद्याथे"
"तत्त्सवयम योगससिद्धा कालेनात्मणि विन्दति ”
Which means there is no other divine thing such as knowledge. This knowledge leads to enlightenment. An enlightened person is always sublime in his thoughts, words and deeds.
Here at Bhavans, we are on the very task of helping the young minds imbibe the divine, unparalleded knowledge with different facts. Education for enlightenment with gusto and get inspired incessantly. Indeed, this motto is a great source of inspiration and motivation towards establishing fine work environment with learning pursuit. We help the children to think independently.
Education, as a planned endeavour, at an institutional level aims at grooming children capable of becoming active, responsible, productive and caring members of society. Ideally, education is supposed to encourage the students to analyse and evaluate their experiences and to think independently. Education must therefore promote and nourish as wide range of capacities and skills in our children as possible. The guiding principle of our school and its functioning is to lay the foundation of a noble character of moral integrity, feeling of oneness, patriotism and empathy in the young minds, so that grow upright and stable as ideal icons that can shape the destiny of the nation.
"यथा दृष्टि, तथा सृष्टि" - जैसी दृष्टि है, वैसी ही दुनिया है।
Divinity is not be given from anywhere else. That thou Art. Each child is a divine self. He / she is a unique master piece of Gods creation who can serve the humanity. So, the ultimate goal of education is to give children a broader vision and a sense of commitment. We should impart education not only for academic excellence but for the inner transformation as well that enables a child to face the challenges of life. For this, the role of a teacher is enormous. Teacher is a role model, a guide, facilitator, parent and a friend to a child.
Education must be able to impart to children a vision of universal brotherhood, to be a true human being, to travel the path of selfless service, emotionally balanced, intellectually stable and physically fit, with a deep sense of patriotism, respectful to all religions with the attitude of gratitude and above all "Vasudaiva Kutumbakam". The world is one family, the noblest vision.
At, Vidyashram, learning has always been a loving and memorable experience for the children. School life at Bhimavaram is not a preparatory to life. Vidyashram itself presents life to the children will all its varied learning situations created with rich blend of fun and knowledge. These ever cheerful faces and enthusiastic looks testify the same. We are always on our vision and we consider it very holy and noble also to cater to the intellectual needs of the budding versatile personalities.
Our Mission is to present the society and the country the dynamic youth force equipped with fine talents, problem solving techniques, and modern skills with a strong base in the age old value system of the country. Every one of this young brigade is second to none in team work, co-operation, helping the needy and service to mankind. We are sincerely making a complete human being out of every child kept in our trust. It would be apt to remember the "Santhi Sloka" here.
